What the world needs now is love, Part 2

Turns out that Shelbie Rassler, the young woman responsible for the previously posted "What the World Needs Now is Love" virtual choir, has actually written a musical.

Entitled "Voices," it was performed in Boston, Massachusetts in 2019. Hearing only this one song (video above), I can see that she has been influenced - as evidenced by the color of the lighting and the musical style - by "Dear Evan Hansen," a Broadway musical that I encourage you to look up if you have never heard of it.

Shelbie Rassler only wrote the music, not the lyrics, for this show, but the melodies seem to be infused with a kind of heartfelt passion that is familiar yet novel.

I can't wait to see what she does next.
